Tour Amsterdam in the Amfibus
Tourists in Amsterdam now have an unique opportunity to explore the city - by amphibious bus. Launched on 8 July, the bright blue Amfibus amphibious bus takes passengers from Schiphol airport for the journey to the center of Amsterdam. Coming off the road before diving, passengers enjoy attractions from the Amfibus, including the Skinny Bridge, the Royal Theatre Carré, Oude Schans and Oosterdok. Operated by the shipping company Lovers, the Amphibus can accommodate 48 people. With three trips daily, each lasting 45 minutes, Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities to appreciate from the Amfibus. For sightseeing tours with a difference, try also Glasgow, Scotland, where there is a similar bus. The company behind this initiative is also looking to bring the "Amfibug" to market, a car which can accommodate two adults and two children.
