Full body scanners get full roll-out at Manchester
After a year trialling the technology, Manchester Airport is going ahead with a roll-out of body scanners at its three terminals. In 12 months an estimated 400,000 passengers have passed through the devices, with 95% of customers reportedly preferring the potentially intrusive machines over a full body pat-down.
