New name for Dublin airport?
Low-cost carrier Ryanair has published the results of a poll they conducting, giving the public various choices for a new name for Dublin Airport, after the government indicated last year it may rename the capital's airport.
Apparently the top choice was "Dublin Jedward Airport", named for the hair-raising twins who were catapulted to fame on the UK's X-Factor TV show.
Quoted on RTE.ie, Stephen McNamara, Ryanair's head of communications said: "Ryanair passengers have spoken and after over 10,000 votes were cast, Dublin Airport should now be renamed Dublin Jedward Airport - because its prices rise faster than their hair."
