easyJet connects Belfast to Russia with new route from London

easyJet has announced the opening of a new route in March this year, from London Gatwick Airport to Moscow. This new flight connects Belfast International airport to the Russian capital through connection flights, and the new doorway is said to open up Northern Ireland to 'inbound investment'.

Whilst the route launches in March, an increase in April will see 2 daily flights leave London for Russia. easyJet is advertising "new levels of affordability" with a return ticket from London costing just £100.

Gatwick connects Belfast International to a number of European destinations, which include Madrid, Milan, Zurich and Luxemburg. Uel Hoey, Belfast International Airport's business development director has stated that the London airport "opens up an affordable gateway to markets that were previously difficult to access".
