Belfast International Airport reprieve for smokers

There is now a new smoking area available to passengers in Belfast Airport. This is located after you go through security and can be used while waiting for your plane. Belfast Airport has stated that this was built to respond to the demand by customers to provide an area where they could smoke. To address the costs of building the facility, there is a charge of £1. It is not clear however, if this is £1 per visit or if it is £1 while a traveller is in the area.
