Formia Gaeta Station information

Formia-Gaeta railway station, beforehand named Formia railway station, serves the urban areas and comunes of Formia and Gaeta, in the area of Lazio, Italy.

Opened in 1892, the station in no time structures a piece of the Rome–Formia–Naples rail line, which was finished in 1927. Already, and initially, the station was a piece of the now surrendered Sparanise–Gaeta rail route, the Formia–Gaeta segment of which is at present during the time spent being remade.

All trains going through the station are characterized as being via Formia, to recognize them from trains working on the more seasoned and slower Rome–Naples rail route via Cassino.
