Highly recommended, if you driving to Ancona to take a return ferry. The initial price might seem pricy, but when you factor in the drop off right at the port terminal and the piece-up on return, this is excellent value for money.

About Ancona port
The Port of Ancona is today one of the Adriatic's most important commercial ports, affirming its historical significance in the area. In recent years, it has become a prominent port of call for passengers travelling to Eastern Europe.
The Port Authority has set aside an official area for parking at the Port of Ancona next to Mandracchio Dock, which is 500 metres from the embarkation area. This car park is open air and not patrolled and costs €60.00 for around 10 days. It is not possible to book this car park at the Port of Ancona except in July and August when it is extremely busy with cruise and ferry traffic.
Parking within the Port of Ancona is very limited during the high season and although the parking area is only minutes away from the Marittima station it is difficult to find a space even by booking in advance. The parking area within the Port of Ancona is connected to the Marittima station via a taxi service.
